On Blast! It is not cool to put other peoples buisness "On Blast" in your LJ!!! It is your LJ. Yes it is a place to record your thoughts and feelings, but you should not put other people's buisness in such an open forum. Without using a filter (or some such function) posting anything here is just like speaking with a clear and audible voice in a room contain everyone that has access to your friends list. You can leave out names (I sure do) but there are some situations where omiting names does not help. (ie. My Hetero Lifemate, MY BEST FRIEND, or A friend of mine who is getting married on a specific date, etc.) Do you really think that people on your "FRIENDS" list can't figure out who you are talking about? Sometimes you should just keep things to yourself, or write in a book if you have to get it out. I have a novel approach for you. Call and talk to the people or person you have issues with. You might actually resolve the issue in a way that doesn't piss everyone off!!! Current Mood: aggravatedCurrent Music: For your life -Led Zeppelin- |

So I have met a few very attractive (physically and mentally) vegetarian women recently. After the third one I have decided that I have to find a way to get myself to like eating vegetarian dishes or at least find a vegetarian friendly restaurant to eat at besides Yafa. Next stop http://www.redbamboobrooklyn.com/! Wish me luck everyone! Current Mood: hopefulCurrent Music: Times like this -LIT- |

Drunken national singles awareness day!!! I was supposed to go home and go to sleep and treat yesterday just like any other Tuesday night, but did I do that? Oh no! That would have been too easy. My cube neighbor said he was going out for drinks and since he is a cool guy and we have not hung out outside of work for a while I decided to go with him. He had some other friends coming out and I convinced a friend or two to come and celebrate a happy anti-valentines day. I am not exactly sure when or why I decided to get plastered, but I did. It was probably a bad idea to go drinking on my second most hated holiday. I will not bore you with the details but I will share a few observations and notes to myself.
1) Don’t run a tab. Use cash. This way you can get a rough estimate of how much you drank when by checking how much money you have left in the morning.
2) If you start knocking over your drinks that is a pretty good sign that you should stop drinking.
3) When someone you know can drink almost anybody you know under the table starts playing musical drinks with you stop drinking.
4) If you are sober enough to realize that your drink is gone don’t let someone convince you that the other full drink on the table is for you.
5) Don’t drink an alcoholic beverage that looks just like what everyone else is drinking.
6) If you are so drunk that you think that you can drink your friend’s drink before she comes back from smoking and she won’t notice, stop drinking.
7) If you are doing a booty dance, and you are not in a club and, you are the only one in the room dancing, and everyone is watching you, stop drinking.
8) If you tell your friend that the DJ is playing a hot set and your friend has to remind you are not in a club and the music is coming from a jukebox, stop drinking!
9) Do not try and drag your less inebriated friends to dance with you. They are perfectly fine with laughing at you but tend to have a look of terror on their face when you try to include them in your “fun”.
10) Dry salty popcorn and alcohol are not a good mix.
11) If you forget how many drinks you had but you start doing things that you usually do when you have 7 or 8 drinks, stop drinking!
12) If you go from making jokes about someone getting so drunk that they will end up dancing on the pool table to complaining that the ceiling is too low for YOU to dance on the table, stop drinking and go home!!!

Found money phone repair. I went to deposit a check for my mom this afternoon. I looked around and remembered I had an account at that bank too. Forgot all about it. Woo Hoo another 756.26 savings account. I hear HSBC is giving 4.2something on savings accounts. I think I am going to transfer all my saving accounts there. Unless someone knows of a better deal anywhere........ So I finally dropped my phone off to be repaired today. Hope they can fix it. I would hate to transfer all my #s to a new phone. Sonic Fusion Sanguineous I hit the ground running today. I totally felt like I was living in a different temporal flow than everything around me. I was feeling a bit trampled under foot. Luckily most of the people in my area like the same music I listen too, so I wrapped myself (and everyone around me) in a blanket of sound. I could feel the sound sink through my skin and into my blood. I could feel the quickening, but I didn't have to chop any one's head off to get it! A little Shinedown, some Skindred, a lot of Trapt, Soundgarden, Metallica, and Zepplin. Suddenly everything around me is back in slow motion again, as it should be. It is kind of funny. I seem to be flying through everything. Tearing through all my data entry, billing, and e-mail. When I have to address any issues away from my desk I keep singing, humming, or whistling the song so I don't miss a beat when I get back to the desk. I am amazed at how many things I can get done in under 4 minutes when I really want to get back to the desk. I hope I don't run anybody over today. (again that is) :P I really have to get an MP3 player! I think I had better get that Jazz play list together if I plan on going to sleep tonight. Hmmmmmmm....... <td align="center">Kindness
Kindness is most important in a boyfriend/girlfriend. You want someone who will go through everything with you - the best moments and the worst, and all of those other moments in between. You love to be able to say anything to your partner, and have them say anything to you. You are able to be extremely close with your partner for that reason.

My night Last night two beautiful Indonesian women shanghaied me. They took me to a bar. I was supposed to buy them one drink then go have dinner with Matt, but that turned into 2. (Sorry Matt.) They left to go and finish sight seeing, and that is when things got interesting. Some friends from work were at the bar and many drinks were had. I met Katie who knows what D’Angelos subs are. She couldn’t stay at the bar but we will be driving up to Conn. to get subs soon! ;-) Met a group of people from another company. Helped demonstrate how their birthday girl should dance wit her husband. I danced a lot. Flirted too much. All in all I had a great time. I really have to remember to not drink around women from my job. They all don’t necessarily think that being “involved” with someone that you work with is a bad idea. That is just trouble waiting to happen. Current Mood: amusedCurrent Music: Lap Dance -N.E.R.D.- |

Alcoholic Selective Memory (ASM) I have not been blessed with the blissful condition that I will call ASM. Now I know that you can drink so much that you black out but I don't think that it actually happens as often as some people say it does. I am convinced that most people just have ASM. I always remember what happens when I get drunk. The only problem I have is remembering the order that events took place. Granted, there are times when I couldn't remember things immediately but when I sobered up I could remember most everything just fine. Do what you do. Accept the consequences and suck it up people! I am in one of the worst moods I have been in quite some time.
I really shouldn't be at work right now. I feel like someone is going to give me shit and I'm going to give them their own shit right back by ripping out their intestines and squeezing it all over their face.
I need to not exist for a while. Probably after this weekend is over.
